Hey everyone! It's the day before the triway cup so I'll answer some FAQs and make some clarifications.

    Location:
Please note that the location is at the back of the building indicated on google maps. We will hopefully have someone to guide you to the door.

    Schedule:
    9 - 10 am: registration
    10 am - 1 pm: contest 1pm - 2 pm: solutions and lunch 2pm - 2:30: awards

    Hardware:
You must bring your own keyboard, computer, monitor, mouse, etc. to the contest. Each team is limited to one keyboard and one computer.

    Contest Setting:
The contest will be held on dmoj. The contests rules are as follows:

    • 8 problems, equally weighted
    • 3 hours
    • teams will be ranked first by problems solved, then by sum of submission times
    • there is NO incorrect submission penalty
    • Teams will each be given one paper copy of the problem statements.
    • important note: problems are NOT ordered by difficulty. Please read all problems.

    Teams:
Contestants may participate alone or in a team of two people. Prizes will be split among the winners and it is up to the winning team or individual to decide how they will distribute the prize among themselves.

Maybe we should remove AQT from the authors list.

But that means if there are any bad problems, we'll be forced to blame you instead of AQT. D:

Well, that's why there won't be any bad problems C:

CLARIFICATION: In order for a team to be eligible for prizes, all members of the team must still be enrolled in high school or a lower level of education(middle school, etc).

The reason they only distribute prizes for the live contest is to PREVENT CHEATING

Don't think so. Only those participating in the live version are, iirc.

Edit: Confirmed. The live contest will be the only version which will distribute prizes, as it is within a specified 3-hour time range. This is to prevent people from making alternate accounts to view and solve all of the problems, then submitting on a main. We highly encourage that you come to the live contest for prize eligibility.

Also, if you stumble upon a good question it's probably imaxblue's if it's like, "tf is this", it's most likely AQT's :3

Will this contest be hosted on DMOJ? If so, will non high school students be allowed to participate (not for prizes)?

There will be an online mirror for those who wish to participate and are unable to go to the live event.
