PEG accounts and problems are now accessible

posted on Sept. 8, 2020, 12:25 p.m.

Hi all,

We are happy to announce that PEG accounts and problems have been migrated to DMOJ, and can now be accessed.

Some usernames on PEG could not be assigned on DMOJ, as they were already in use. A _wcipeg suffix was added to the PEG username in these cases. You can check this list to see if this applies to you.

PEG accounts may be merged into existing DMOJ accounts (in the case you had an account on both DMOJ and PEG, and would like to merge them into one). To initiate this process, visit your profile page while logged in to your PEG account, and follow the instructions.

All PEG submissions were regraded on DMOJ judge hardware to keep rankings consistent. You may view a spreadsheet of aggregate rejudging results here. Submissions to a number of problems (mainly IOI) have not yet been assigned to migrated accounts, but will become available in the coming days.

Feel free to let us know of any questions you may have in the comments, in Discord, or by email.

Hi, is it possible to merge multiple PEG accounts with my DMOJ account? I tried merging a second account and got a SIGSEGV error.

We just added the ability to merge multiple PEG accounts into a single DMOJ account. Please try again.

My handle is not appearing in the list when i try to merge with a PEG account, maybe because it is only numbers (?).

There are purely numeric usernames on that list (e.g. 121800_wcipeg). Is your WCIPEG account's handle also 002?

I can't find my DMOJ account in the list when i log in my wcipeg account and try to merge.

Try typing your username followed by a space: this should find exactly your username.

As an FYI, this trick should work with all similarly-designed menus on DMOJ.

I have merged my accounts but I still can't see the submissions on my native account. How long should we wait before the merge is complete?

Your original account (presumably this one) had submissions only to IOI problems. These problems have not been released into the main problemset yet, but will be in the coming days. Your account has been merged; your submissions to those problems will become available once the problems are made public.

When I try to submit to the new PEG problems, I get a "No judge is available for this problem". Is this supposed to happen?

Which problems are you looking at? I picked a random sample and they all had judges, but I've forced a sync just in case.

It was mmm14a and primes1, but I talked to Kirito on the Discord and think he fixed it.
